Replacing a flat tire

  • Product
  • number of times that the CUSTOMER may access the Product, during the validity of the same.
  • Limit amount: Corresponds to the maximum cost of the Product, during its validity.
  • CUSTOMER: The natural person to whom the tire is billed.

The CUSTOMER will have the right to replace the flat tire for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.

SECTION 2. PRODUCT CONDITIONS.

Customers who have purchased one or more tires in Mundimotos physical stores or digital channels may request replacement of the tire that accidentally bursts during the validity of the Product.

Replacement will be possible provided the following conditions are met:

  • The damage must have been caused accidentally, that is, unexpectedly and unforeseen, without intent or negligence on the part of the CUSTOMER or anyone handling the vehicle. Tire replacement will not be performed if the blowout is the result of vandalism, cutting, and/or punctures.
  • Tire replacement is only applicable when the damage is irreparable and impedes vehicle movement. A vulcanized tire may be repaired. If the gap is greater than 2 cm and the other conditions are met, the tire will be replaced.
  • This coverage does not cover punctures, cuts, or perforations that can be repaired.
  • The tire must not have been repaired or tampered with for the blowout claim.
  • This replacement applies solely and exclusively to the new tire purchased from MUNDIMOTOS for which this benefit has been granted.
  • To access the replacement, the CUSTOMER must complete the steps described in Section 3 of this condition.

SECTION 3. REQUEST FOR TIRE BACKING

  1. Process for providing TIRE SUPPORT

Step 1 – Product Request

When a claim is filed for a tire blowout, the CUSTOMER may initiate their request through the following means:

  • Go to the nearest retail outlet (it doesn't have to be the same one where you purchased the tire) and present the flat tire.
  • Contact the Mundimotos customer service channel either through the MarketPlace that made the sale, WhatsApp or PQRS to escalate the request.

Information required to apply for tire endorsement

To request tire support, it is essential that the CUSTOMER provides the following information:

  • Name and surname
  • Type and identification number
  • Purchase invoice number
  • Mundimotos sales point where it is located.
  • Photographic record in case of making the claim in person.

If the client does not provide one or more of the above information when requesting support, the request cannot be processed.

Step 2 - Physical inspection of the tire's condition

Once the CUSTOMER presents the tire at any Mundimotos physical location, an advisor will perform a physical inspection of its condition.

If, as a result of the physical inspection of the tire, it is determined that it has indeed suffered a blowout that meets the conditions of section 3, paragraph 1, the advisor will authorize the replacement of the tire in accordance with step 2.

If, on the contrary, as a result of the physical inspection it is determined that the tire did not burst and the damage is repairable, Mundimotos will refrain from replacing it and will not assume any responsibility or expense related to the non-provision of the same, given that the conditions provided in this condition do not exist.

Step 3 - Replacing the tire

The Mundimotos Advisor will perform internal validation and contact the Supplier if applicable to obtain authorization for tire replacement.

Once the tire replacement is approved, the Mundimotos advisor will deliver to the CUSTOMER a tire with the same specifications indicated on the invoice, regardless of the cost at the time of replacement.

If the Mundimotos location where the claim is made does not have a tire with the same characteristics, Mundimotos will deliver it within a maximum period of 30 calendar days, after which it will inform the CUSTOMER of the location where the claim should be made.

It does not include labor, damage to third parties, or other types of damage to the vehicle; it only covers tire replacement.

  1. Help lines for PQR

To request information, file a petition, complaint or claim, the Client must send an email to the mailbox atenciónalcliente@mundimotos.com or to the following link https://acortar.link/Hu402f , indicating as identification data their name, type and identification number and email where they will receive the response.

Mundimotos reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time.

If you do not talk about the process of mounting and dismounting the tires, it should be made clear.

Who determines that it exploded accidentally?

MOK will give approval after seeing the photos and receiving the version of the facts, the Mundimotos advisor who receives the motorcycle makes the visual inspection checking that the break is greater than 2 cm and that it does not look "polished" if it were made by a weapon

Is this vulcanized repair paid for by MM or the end customer?

The customer, the service/protection provided by Mundimotos only refers to the replacement of the tire
