¿Cuál es el Kit básico para tener en una moto?

The motorcycle is our companion on all our adventures; we can comfortably ride the streets and highways on it. However, like any means of transportation, it requires constant maintenance to function properly. We must turn to professionals, but what happens when we get stuck in the middle of a journey and don't have a team of mechanics nearby?

Next, we will learn more about the tools we should have:

Screwdrivers: You'll need two screwdrivers, one flat-head and one Phillips-head. It's important to note that most motorcycles come with Phillips and flat-head screwdrivers. These two screwdrivers will allow you to access key areas like the fuse box or battery terminals.

Allen key set: In some cases, the problem can be even greater. Allen keys are essential because many of the parts are made with Allen screws. It's important to have these keys in good quality to avoid the risk of breaking them when applying force.

Adjustable wrench: This wrench is perfect for resolving an eventuality, as its range of applications is very wide.

Locking Pliers: Locking pliers are so useful that they allow you to hold two pieces at once, if you lost the screw originally. They can also be used to remove a headless screw or loosen a piece.

Puncture repair kit: This is easy since motorcycles, unlike cars, don't have a spare tire.

For tubeless wheels either Tubeless tires are just as simple as removing the object that caused the puncture. Enlarge the hole with an awl, insert a rubber wick wrapped in glue, and then inflate the tire with the compressed air bottles that are usually included.

Essential spare parts: light bulbs, rifles, chain oil, and spark plugs are easy to replace and will allow us to continue our journey safely.

With these items you will be able to travel hundreds of kilometers without any problems.

Remember that the most important thing is to have a preventive check-up before hitting the road, ensuring all parts are in good condition; the safety of the motorcycle and yourself is paramount.

Happy Journey!
